Southeastern Railway Museum

During Kathy and Don's visit, we took the boys to the Southeastern Railway Museum.  The boys loved it!

They happened to have some old fashion fire trucks...making the train museum extra special for my fire truck loving boys.

So, it was more than trains....the busy was another "hit"

A treat at Food Truck Alley in Alpharetta

Chattahoochee Nature Center

Kathy and Don came to visit and see our new home and we took a trip to the Chattahoochee Nature Center.  It was rainy, but that didn't stop us from checking out some of the grounds and left us lots to explore on our next visit.

We made a stop at Target on the way home....he just looked so funny, I had to include this picture.  Nick taught him that when he walks in a store, he has to have his hands in his pockets.  He takes this very seriously.

Sunday dinner with the Emslies

At the beginning of August, we went to dinner at the Emslie's house to play and see their new home.  We had a great dinner, made s'mores in their fire pit and explored their incredible back yard.  It's comforting to know we have old friends in our new home. :)

Hanging at the new house with new friends

We are way behind here....  These pictures are from July when we had some new friends over for dinner...
