Meeting Michael
Ben's home from his vacation and getting back into the swing of things... except he's unfortunately not sleeping through the night like he did in Florida. We all enjoyed our time in the warmer weather and can't wait until it gets warmer here!
Today we drove to NJ to meet Bern and Mike's new baby Michael (1 month). He is a big baby, just like Ben, and seems to have the same sunny disposition. It was great to see Bern and Mike and we look forward to lots of beach time together this summer!
The boys officially meet...
They get a little closer while Michael uses Ben to hold himself up.
Now they are old friends.
The next generation of 750... what cuties! Who knew we'd have two boys join the group?

Ben's first vacation
Nick and I took Ben to Florida to visit my parents and returned home late last night. It was a great trip with a lot of "firsts" including:
- Ben's first flight
- First trip to the beach
- First dip in the pool
- First meeting (Great) Aunt Nancy and (Great) Uncle Tom
- First view of a golf course
- First trip to Schnapper's
- First time being held by Great Grandpa Mac, and
- First time going outside without his feet covered!
Ben's been making some strides himself lately including, finding his hands and possibly even knowing how to use them, smiling at everyone that makes eye contact with him, practicing his gymnastics moves by making his body stiff and pointing his toes, and best of all....sleeping through the night! We'll see how long that lasts, but his Mom is definitely enjoying it!
We took lots of pictures. I'll put a few here and link to the full Picasa pictures.

3 months old TODAY!
Ok, it's time for Ben's monthly photo shoot on the chair and Wally scale. As we did last time, I'll post pictures from last month to compare.

Oh how he's grown!
Ben meets Fox news star, Jo-Jo
After her television debut, Jo-Jo finally made it over to meet Ben!
Then on Wednesday, Ben did a lot of "talking." This should be a video, but he doesn't perform well for the camera.

Sunday at home
These are all from yesterday...even though we had a few "costume" changes.
Ben in the Moby, which worked like a charm...this was about 10 minutes before he was completely out.
Another use for Ben's chair.
I thought he was sleeping here, but after looking at the picture, I think he's peaking at me with one eye. Ben looked especially like Nick in his overalls....anyone remember Nick in college?

Cousin Bonding
Ben getting ready for bed last night...."what, Daddy? I know I don't have any clothes on and I like it!"
We went down to visit Kara, Carl and Carl V (6 1/2 months) today. Carl V was very interested in the "bug bracelet" Ben was wearing while Ben was grinning at his Aunt Kara.
The adorable cousins...not camera shy at all!
A little ride before we left.

12 weeks!
Ben's beginning to hold things - still inadvertently, I think. I put the rattle in his hands and he moves it around until it happens to fall out. It's still a new skill, right?
Ben and I started doing Baby Yoga at home. When balanced on my legs and doing a "Superman" type move...he makes many hysterical faces. I, on the other hand, dodge his droll.
Some pictures from today to capture Ben at exactly 12 weeks.

Aunt Lauren and Aunt Jen visit
Lauren and Jen drove up from VA with their friend Emily to visit Benny...
He enjoyed some hearty giggles showing off his multiple chins :)
All three of them were great entertainers
Once again failing to successfully roll over on his own, he showed them how strong he is!
Thanks for coming to visit us! Hope to see you again soon.

Future Wildcat - 11 weeks
Today, we took advantage of the good weather and met the Siwickis (and little Gavin (almost 7 weeks)) at Villanova for lunch and a walk around campus so the boys could check out their future college campus.
What a sweet boy
Ben was sleeping so we didn't want to take him out of the seat and wake him up
Then he woke up anyway
The boys hung out in the lobby of Bartley
Story time earlier today
This one is from the other day when Nick got home from work. We can't wait until Ben can give kisses back like his friend Charlie!
