Beautiful day at the Zoo

Aunt Jenny joined us at the zoo today. Ben loved pointing at the animals!

He always looked back to make sure we were looking too.

Jack, grooving on a bench.

Ben was so excited this alligator was RIGHT on the other side of the glass.

HUGE turtles

"Mommy, where are MY sunglasses?"

"I'll just hold onto your nose so I don't fall off."

Aunt Jenny's favorite!

Ben felt the need to serenade the elephants.

Time to go home!

Dinner Time

Peek-a-boo!

Inside play fun

Ben in the kitchen playing with his favorite item - the cash register.

Ben learned to climb the ladder for the slide.

After a successful slide down, Ben tried to climb up the slide.

Ben playing on the big floor piano

Rockin' on a big snail.

Taking a break in the moon bounce. :)

Jack helps Ben walk

Every day that Jack comes to our apartment to play, Ben and Jack assume their positions: Jack climbs in the wagon and Ben pushes him while walking on his knees. Yesterday, Ben decided to try standing up. Thank goodness his socks had treads on them. He did a great job! I leaped to get the camera and caught two shots. As soon as Jack gets out, Ben's pushing abilities are over because the wagon is too light. Maybe one of these days, Ben will be able to walk without Jack's assistance.

Cell Phone Shots

A little out of order, but my favorite of my recent cell phone pictures:

Daddy Duty

While I was away for a night with my college roommates, here are some pictures of Nick's weekend with Ben.

Notice the oatmeal on the tray instead of in the bowl...

He was a happy boy with his Daddy!

Visiting Charlie

Ben and I visited Colleen and Charlie on Friday before we headed back to DC. It was so much fun to see Charlie as he's such a little boy now! He is definitely not a baby anymore and is anxiously awaiting the birth of his little sister in just a few weeks. :)

Play Date!

6 Toddlers (term is questionable since only 2 of 6 are really walking), 6 Mommies, 1 absolutely silent adorable newborn = chaos at the Kray house but a LOT of fun!

Kissing his reflection...

Gavin's "what? i'm not doing anything" look

Brenna posing while running

Kate's "chheeessseeee"

Lunch time

Queen Kate overseeing her subjects from the royal highchair

The boys....the choice activity was squashing blueberries. :(

And baby Emma slept through all this madness!

Ben and his ladies

Ben and I drove home today for a doctor's appointment (which is tomorrow). Ben had a 2 on 1 Bachelor-style date with Kate and Brenna for dinner. Well, Bachelor-style with Mommies present. Thank you soooo much to Christa for a fantastic dinner!

Kate has Ben's favorite toy. He was in heaven.

The weather was beautiful, so we took the crew outside...

Poor Kate was not a fan

Neither was Brenna

Here is Ben wondering why the girls are crying! I'd say they were fighting over him, but they seemed to cry more when in the same wagon. :(

Soooo....Ben got the wagon to himself.

And the girls seemed a lot happier.

This play time was followed by a fantastic mac 'n cheese dinner resulting in 2 out of 3 kids in just their undershirts. It's a funny world when you classify your meal as great when you end up in only your underwear!
