Another little accomplishment

After about 5 days of Ben rolling from his back to his side like this,

He finally made it all the way over to his belly.  You can see here with his current form, his hand got very caught under his belly upon completion of the roll.  I guess he has a little more practicing to get it right.  The roll was not caught on camera, but was witnessed by both Mommy and Daddy.  I will try to capture it next time.

"Daddy bought me some Villanova gear when he was on campus last week!"

Ben's Aunts gave him this Polo warm-up and have been asking for pictures, so here they are.  I discovered that Ben associates getting his picture taken with opening his mouth as wide as it will go.  It's pretty cute....he sure looks excited!

Here's some other expressions I was able to catch.  They say: "Yep - I know I'm cute, but I think I'm done with this picture thing" and "Enough Mommy!"

Just one more cute one I got today...  (After a record number of clothing changes today, Ben was in his birthday suit when Daddy got home!)

Easter Celebration

We had a wonderful Easter with both of Ben's grandparents, three Aunts, one Uncle and adorable cousin Carl (7 1/2 months).  Here are some highlights:

Just a little Tuesday

So I know daily updates are a little crazy, but there are some family members out there who like the daily pictures (Aunt Lauren...Papi....).  Ben's been rolling over a little more consistently...on to the next accomplishment, when will he sit or crawl?

Looks like Mommy should have ironed Ben's collar.  Opps!

Ben had a play date with Alex DeFeo today.  Six weeks makes a big difference and he is a definite cutie!  We showed Alex and his Mommy, Megan, a bunch of our daily activities.  Alex may have some yoga and additional belly time in his future!

Ben had a pretty fussy morning, so I was pretty happy that putting the "Mr. Happy" onsie on him cheered him up!

New Toy

Family play time on Saturday.  Our friends, the Johnsons, visited and we showed them how awesome it is to have a baby.  As always, trying to gather more friends for our little guy.  :)

Our plan may have been spoiled when Ben threw up all over Christine right after this picture was taken!

Yesterday we got out Ben's Exersaucer thing.  It's a little early (he's not sitting yet), but we wanted to see what he thought of it.  He seemed to like it...

Although his feet barely touch the bottom...

Sophie enjoyed the new toy too.  I guess they'll have to fight for it.

A walk and a play date

Ben going on a walk yesterday.  We are loving the semi-nice weather.  Can't wait for the spring to really get here.

Ben had a play date with Gavin (2 1/2 months) today.  They boys had a great time hanging out on the floor and then doing a little baby yoga.

A little video of their interaction...so cute!

Ben doing his yoga move.  We often question the existence of Ben's neck...here's proof it's there along with a silly face!

Video!

We are in trouble now...I figured out how to upload videos.  Here are two...one of Ben's first swim and another just to catch his current laughs and smiles from a few days ago.  I'll spare you of all the videos I've taken over the last few months although it is fun to see how much he's changed already.  I promise I won't overload the videos though. :)

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Happy Birthday Mom/Grandma!!  Hope you're enjoying your last week in Florida....we wish we were still there.

Benny is doing great this week (although we are working on napping again!).  He is sporadically rolling over and consistently grabbing things with his hands and putting them in his mouth.

We are gearing up for the Villanova game this weekend...although we (Ben and I) are not allowed to watch as they've lost every game we've seen this year.  So... we'll spend Saturday night listening to Daddy's reactions from the basement and hoping for success!

Baby boys ARE made for hugging and kissing!
