Decorating the tree

Ben really enjoyed decorating the tree. It took a while to convince him the ornaments stayed ON the tree after we put them on...but he got it eventually. He kept grabbing them off the table, walking over to the tree and saying, "help!"

Buying the Christmas Tree

A morning of Christmas supply shopping ended with a stop at the local firehouse to purchase our Christmas tree. This is the first tree that Ben is really aware of (we didn't get one last year). He was very interested in the whole process.

Thanksgiving

I don't have too many pictures from Thanksgiving...but we spent the holiday in CT with Nick's family. It was very fun to see Carl and Ben play together. They are so cute together yet very different personalities. Here they are making dinner for everyone using the pizza stone they brought as a present for Mimi and Papi.

Here they are cuddled together in a chair watching the Thanksgiving parade. One of the many highlights for them was the Sesame Street Float!

Some new toys and a trip to Please Touch

So I know I have a lot to catch up on....here goes!

In early November, my Mom brought Ben a hand-me-down fire truck and bike. He loved both.

Then we took a trip to the Please Touch Museum. Ben was doing some construction work.

And some cleaning.

And of course, a ride on the carousel.

Our little man is 2 today. To say that it's gone by fast is an understatement. Need to be sure to enjoy every moment.
