CT Visit - Dinner with the Lairds

We went down to the Lairds' house for dinner this evening.  It was awesome to visit with them and enjoy their adorable kiddos.  Ours seemed a little wild by comparison....but I think it was all the excitement of new friends and pizza for dinner. :)  Thanks for having us, guys!

Not to embarrass him....but this is his follow through.  The ball didn't go far.

My little lady.  Violet is still the only girl in all of the seven 750 babies.

In honor of Jack's birthday.....last February.....we all wore construction worker party hats.  It definitely assisted in getting the boys to pose for a picture (all 5 of them).

Trying to get all 4 kids....this is seriously the best.  Jack was having none of it!

CT Visit - Park time

CT Visit - Dinosaur State Park

Before we move out of PA, we headed to CT for a visit with Nick's parents.  We spend the morning at Dinosaur State Park on Thursday...

REAL dinosaur foot prints found and preserved right where they were found.

This may be one of my new favorite pictures.  My handsome husband and a very giggly Lincoln. :)

What an adorable pair. :)

Mother's Day Tea

Today was Ben's Mother's Day Tea at school.  They met each mother at the door and said "Happy Mother's Day!"  Then they led us to the table and served us cookies and punch.  They sang a few songs and Ben's teacher read a cute book about mothers.  A very sweet day. :)

Video of Nick during the Broad Street Run

Broad Street Run

Yesterday was Philadelphia's Broad Street Run, which is a 10 mile race down the center of the city.  Nick participated for the first time and the boys and I went down to see him.  It was a beautiful day and Nick did an awesome job on his first race....and is already talking about the next one.  I am so proud of him for all of his work to prepare for the race over the last few months.  GO NICK!  (Video to follow)

Lincoln clapping for all the runners before Daddy made his way down to us.  We were waiting for him about about the 7 1/2 mile mark.

Here he comes!

High fives from the boys...

I think Lincoln wanted to join the race.

Villanova Campus

We went to Villanova today (possibly for the last time before we move).  It was our own little 10 year reunion because we will miss the real reunion in June.  We let the boys run around for an hour or two and then went to get lunch at Melt Down.  It was a beautiful day and both Nick and I were impressed with how gorgeous the campus looked.

Since it was a normal day at school, it was pretty funny to see the boys running around amongst all the students.

Asking the boys to take off their glasses was not so successful.
