My mom arrived for a visit with the first "toy" to keep Ben's attention for over three hours straight: sand from the beach.
She put him to bed...(picture taken during reading time before bed....no idea why he's wearing a ski cap)...
And he was back to the sand (with some new tools) immediately upon waking up the next morning.
